CPS Class Location Assistance

Child Passenger Safety (CPS) courses educate individuals on the proper use and installation of child safety seats, booster seats, and seat belts. Courses are typically 4 days and 32 hours long where students learn about different types of child safety seats (rear facing, forward facing, booster), correct installation techniques, harnessing systems, state child passenger laws, teaching caregivers how to safely secure children in vehicles and practice firsthand in several types of cars. The course includes written portions, practical skills evaluations, and a supervised car seat event where technicians will help families install their car seats correctly.

A list of scheduled courses is available on the Safe Kids website: Find a Course.
