Donate $2 to Car Seats for Florida's Families in Need

Vehicle owners have the opportunity to donate $2 or more to the Highway Safety Operating Trust Fund's $2 Difference Child Safety Seat Program to help needy residents living in their own county obtain car seats for their children. Donations stay within the county they are donated in, so you are truly helping those in your own community. Look for it when renewing your vehicle registration.

CPSTs who distribute these seats must not collect donations for these particular seats, as they were already paid for with Florida citizen donations. A financial affidavit must be signed for each seat by the parent, and returned to the OPRC. Report these seats on the OPRC monthly reporting form as non-OPRC seats.
