Florida OPRC: CPS Week Activities Planner and Materials

Hello Occupant Protection Advocates, NHTSA published an Activities Planner for each day of Child Passenger Safety Week. Each day will focus on a key issue in CPS. The planner has activities associated with each day’s issues. Downloads of materials, ads, and videos are available to use for social media. Media advisory and press release samples are also available; personalize one this week to send to your local media outlet for event coverage! Monday, September 24: Selection – The Right Seat and Registration Reminders Tuesday, September 25: Direction – Extended Rear-Facing and Myth-Busting Wednesday, September 26: Location – Back Seat is Best for Kids Under 13 Thursday, September 27: Installation – Lower Anchors & Seatbelts with Tether Emphasis Friday, September 28: Harnessing – Pinch Test and Seat Belt Fit Saturday, September 29: National Seat Check Saturday Car Seat Check events Many of NHTSA’s downloadable materials are already printed in the OPRC store and ready to ship to you for free. The OPRC store will close at the end of the day tomorrow (9/20/2018) to allow us time for grant closing/reopening procedures. Orders are shipped using UPS ground; orders received by 12 noon will ship that afternoon. Orders received after 12 noon will ship early next week.
