Hello Florida Occupant Protection
Advocates, A recall was recently announced
for Harmony Big Boost Deluxe Booster Seats. Download
the latest recall list. The Florida OPRC maintains a fitting
station list of Florida locations used for fitting car seats.
Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) submits this list with their
annual NHTSA funding application which is due this month. Please review the
fitting station list and let us know if you see anything to add/delete/modify
by May 30th. Please include days/times of operation.
CPS INSTRUCTORS: Also for the
NHTSA funding application, FDOT needs a draft plan of when and where you
think you may instruct CPS courses for grant year 2019; email this to Florida
OPRC by May 30th for compilation. The 2018 Click It or Ticket
campaign begins next week. Materials
are available from NHTSA to download or OPRC to ship. Print items
ordered from OPRC do not need signature sheets (you only need to enter
quantities distributed on the report form at the
bottom of your profile) and have no minimum quantities so order
