CPS Week is underway, and just about everyone has their CPS Week car seat orders. There will be a NHTSA after-event form to fill out, which we will send around next week. Here are CPS Week dates through 2020 for those wanting to pre-plan for next year. Know a CPS Instructor or Tech who has done exceptional work this year? Nominations are being taken through November 18 for CPS Instructor or Technician of the year by the National CPS Board. FDOT would like to know all who are being nominated for Florida, so please email FloridaOPRC@ce.ufl.edu with your nomination as well. The most current recertification rates by state are available. Safe Kids Worldwide recently launched a new Child Passenger Safety site: The Ultimate Car Seat Guide. The Guide, developed with the support of General Motors, is based on Safe Kids experience from working with families and checking nearly 2 million car seats. Please help us to extend the reach of the Guide to as many parents, grandparents and caregivers as possible. The scholarship and stipend applications are temporarily down while we close this current grant year. Forms will be reposted next month with the beginning of the new grant year. |
